Ultimate Guide for Marble Flooring
Laying marble floors is effortless. Follow this ultimate guide to lay your DIY marble flooring. Start by cleaning out the displeasing residues, and chisel out the remnants. The floor base should be cleaned with water to eliminate dirt and other adherent particles. Use appropriate cutter tools to knock off the floor base.
Prepare cement slurry and spread it evenly on the floor; measure and place the marble temporarily and set the tile using a rubber mallet.
To cut tiles as needed, use a wet tile saw, use a paint stick or utility knife to scrape away any extra adhesive that has seeped up from the spaces between the tiles, and seal the marble before grout so it won't leave any significant stains. Finally, grout the tile, wipe it neatly, and seal the grout.
