Our Selection of Travertine Mosaic Tiles:
1. Mosaics in the Brick Style
Our rectangle shape mosaic range, while the top and bottom of the sheets are straight due to the brick arrangement, the sides of these mosaic sheets do not have straight sides. This does help during installation, as each mosaic sheet easily slots into each other, sometimes helping to ease the installation process for some.
2. Variety is Essential
You can choose our 3 colour Travertine for a spotted effect with its multiple colour range from lighter ivory to darker brown tones, or go for a more consistent look with our Ivory range, or go for something more unique and unusual and choose our Silver Travertine range with its classy modern appearance and growing popularity.
Areas where Travertine Mosaics are Commonly Used:
The most common places mosaic tiles are used in homes are on bathroom walls and floors or as a splash back in kitchens, but in recent years people have become more adventurous and have started installing mosaics in their hallways, as feature wall installations, or even as a focal wall installation in some bedrooms rooms. Because longer rectangles create the illusion of length and depth, brick mosaics create the illusion of a much larger room when installed on small narrower walls. When used for both the floor and the walls in the same area, such as bathrooms, square mosaics provide a more precise appearance with neat lines, which helps to bring the space together.
How Do I Care for My Natural Travertine Mosaics?
Travertine mosaics can be easily cleaned using warm water mixed with a tiny amount of regular dish washing soap on a daily basis; however, for more stubborn dirts, we recommend a specially designed natural stone tile cleaning product such as intensive cleaner. If you choose to use other products, please read the bottle label for more information on the product of your choice, as cleaning products containing bleach, lemon, or vinegar can damage your natural Travertine tiles.

Travertine Mosaic Maintenance:
As with all natural stones, travertine mosaic tiles should be sealed at least twice, once before and once after grouting. We recommend tile sealer because it is specifically designed for non-polished matt finish tiles. Sealing your tiles will protect them from spills and ensure they retain their fantastic look for a longer period of time. The more frequently your mosaic tiles are swept or dust, the better. This prevents dirt from settling in the grout and caking on the tiles. By addressing these issues as soon as possible, you can avoid larger, more difficult-to-clean problems in the future. Sweep your tile floors once a day, and dust your mosaic walls every few days. Another option is to vacuum with a soft brush attachment.
