Belvedere granite is quarried in South Africa. Granites are natural stones excavated from underneath the earth surface. Belvedere, a rich black-coloured granite predominantly found with a bronze vein running along the white or grey hues of dark granite, offers a rich and classical look to any space.
Granite is one of the toughest materials on earth. The physical characteristics, like durability and availability of colours and textures, range from subtle white to dark black granites. They complement every design and style requirement. Every slab that is cut out of a natural stone is unique and appreciated as a masterpiece of art.
Granites are usually subjected to different finishing textures, like leather, flamed, brushed, polished, honed, and lapatura. Belvedere is available with a polished finish and thickness of around 20mm and 30mm. The polished finish reflects brilliant colours and grains found deep in the granite, thus demonstrating the brilliance of the natural stone when exposed to light. A polished finish adds a smooth and glossy appearance to the granite material.
The notable advantages of using granite countertops include resistance to very high temperatures, frost resistance, low water absorption, stain resistance, easy cleaning routine, low-cost maintenance, no use for harsh chemicals, wiping with a mild soap solution and a simple microfiber cloth that will do the magic for a long-lasting shine and maintenance
Granite has a wide range of applications, such as kitchen countertops, bathroom countertops, walls, flooring and backsplashes. The word belvedere stems from two Italian terms: ‘bel’ meaning beautiful and ‘vedere’ meaning view. True to its name, this granite definitely instills a beautiful view in the place it occupies, whether your personal or work space.
Application: Kitchen Island, countertops, floors, backsplashes, memorials, fireplace, bathroom surrounds, stairs and wall.
